.aac to .mp3

In MS-DOS batch file, convert all .aac files, recursively, into .mp3's

@echo off

for /R %%f in ("*.aac") do (
    ffmpeg.exe -i "%%~f" -acodec mp3 "%%~pf%%~nf.mp3"
    DEL "%%~f"
)

Notes

In a DOS batch file, you have to double the "%" to work!!! The following [is a | are] command line version[s].

WORKED:
%~p : path
%~n: primary filename
for /R %f in ("*.aac") do (ffmpeg.exe -i "%~f" -acodec mp3 "%~pf%~nf.mp3")

png to jpg

So, I thought to myself, "Self! ffmpeg speaks both png and jpg. My friend always sends me memes as png's. Can we convert these png's to jpg's without the BIMP plugin to GIMP?" ¶ And so I replied, "This problem sounds familiar…"

@echo off

for /R %%f in ("*.png") do (
    ffmpeg.exe -i "%%~f" "%%~pf%%~nf.jpg"
    DEL "%%~f"
)
